(1)           Resolution   

  Central office bearers and Circle secretaries of BSNL EA(I) in their meeting held on 25 Sept 2002 at Hyderabad unanimously resolved to out rightly reject the tentative proposals of the BSNL management relating to the pay scales of Executives in BSNL. The House further urges the BSNL management to give due and considered weightage to the recommendations of the Mohan Committee relating to pay scales. The House also resolves that in the event of the management failing to give appropriate pay scales E2/E3/E4 and E5 to JTOs/SDEs/Sr.SDEs/DEs immediate organizational action shall commence.

 (2)           The meeting expressed the unanimous opinion that the action that the action initiated by the management for filling up the vacant STS posts by promoting SDEs to Adhoc DEs is far from satisfactory in two counts                     (i) The number of vacancies proposed to be filled                                                         (ii)Screening procedure of ACRs .The house decided that savingrams protesting the inadequate action of the DOT should be sent from all branche/circle secretaries on 30-09-2002.
